When we reject your verification, you will receive a notification in your ‘My Kinky’ account.
The notification will show the exact reason why your verification was rejected.
If the reason isn’t completely clear, check below to see what it means and what you can do to have your verification approved.
Not the requested photo’s
The verification photo(s) you uploaded do not match what we asked for.
We request specific verification photos to confirm your profile is genuine and complies with our guidelines. If you upload different or unclear photos, we cannot properly assess your identity or advertisement.
Tip: Read the photo instructions carefully and upload the requested verification photos according to the guidelines.
Used verification photos look edited
The uploaded verification photo(s) appear to be altered or manipulated.
We only accept original, unedited photos so we can verify that the submission is authentic. If the newspaper or receipt has been edited, we cannot confirm that the photos are current and reliable.
Tip: Upload new, unedited photos directly from your camera or phone, making sure the newspaper or receipt is fully visible and the date clearly readable.
Person does not match the advertisement
The person in the verification photos does not match the person shown in the advertisement.
We check whether the uploaded verification photos correspond to the advertisement photos to prevent misleading content. If the verification photos show someone other than the person in the ad, the advertisement becomes unreliable.
Tip: Use only photos of yourself and make sure the person in the advertisement photos is the same as in the verification photos.
Placing filters over your verification photos is not allowed
The verification photo(s) you uploaded have been edited with filters.
We only accept original photos so we can verify how you actually look and confirm that the person in the photo matches the advertisement. Filters or effects alter your appearance and make the verification unreliable.
Tip: Upload the original photos directly from your camera or phone, without filters, effects, or color adjustments.
Photos unreadable / Poor quality
The verification photo(s) you uploaded are blurry or too low in quality to be properly assessed.
The photos must be sharp and clear so that you, as the advertiser, are clearly visible and the date on the newspaper or receipt is readable. Blurry or dark photos make verification impossible.
Tip: Take new, well-lit photos where both you and the date on the newspaper or receipt are clearly visible.
Used verification photos are outdated
The verification photo(s) you uploaded include a newspaper or receipt with an outdated date.
We use the date on the newspaper or receipt to confirm that the photo is recent and up to date. An old date makes it impossible to verify that the submission is still valid.
Tip: Upload a new photo with a newspaper or receipt dated no more than 7 days ago, ensuring the date is clearly visible.
Person not at least 21 years old
The uploaded identification shows that you are under 21 years old.
Advertising on our platform is only allowed for individuals aged 21 or older. For this reason, your account has now been closed.
Tip: You can create a new account once you turn 21.
Possible fraud with the id document
The uploaded identity document appears to be edited.
We review IDs to ensure the authenticity of profiles and to prevent misuse. Editing or manipulating an identity document is considered fraud and is therefore not allowed.
Tip: Upload a clear, unedited, and fully visible ID document where all information is readable and nothing has been altered or modified.
The phone number in the photo and in the advertisement do not match
The phone number visible in the photo differs from the number listed in the advertisement.
We check the phone number on the verification photo and compare it with the one in the advertisement to prevent misuse of ads. If the numbers do not match, it may indicate possible abuse or an unreliable advertisement.
Tip: Make sure the phone number in your photo exactly matches the number shown in your advertisement.
Photos unreadable / Poor quality
The verification photo you uploaded is blurry or too low in quality to be properly assessed.
The photo must be sharp and clear so that you, as the advertiser, are clearly visible and the phone number on the note is readable. A blurry or dark photo makes verification impossible.
Tip: Take a new, well-lit photo where both you and the phone number on the note are clearly visible.
