A photo in the ad is meant to give visitors a good idea of who they might meet. It is important that the photos clearly show how the advertiser currently looks. 


Requirements for the photo: 

  • The photo must comply with all house rules
  • The photo must be of the advertiser and may not be a lookalike. 
  • The photo may show the face, but this is not required. 
  • The photo must not have borders (black, white, or transparent). 
  • The photo must be recent. 
  • The photo may not be overly edited (e.g., removing a mole or tattoo is allowed). 
  • The photo must be of good quality. 
  • The photo must be relevant to the ad. 
  • The photos should not be too similar to each other. 
  • The advertiser must be clearly visible in the photo (close-ups only are not allowed). 
  • Photo collages are not allowed. 


Examples of what is not allowed: 

  • Photos where all wrinkles and imperfections are removed. 
  • Photos with people other than the advertiser. 
  • Poor quality, blurry, or grainy photos. 
  • Photos that contain contact information in any form. 
  • Photos of a pregnant belly. 
  • Company info not linked to the advertiser. 
  • Photos containing brand names. 
  • Screenshots in general. 
  • Photos with animals or stuffed toys. 
  • Photos of only a (empty) room or just toys. 
  • Photos with (fake) weapons. 
  • Photos of violence in any form. 
  • Photos of mutilation in any form. 
  • Photos with needles, vomit, drugs, blood, or feces in any form. 
  • Photos meant to shock. 


Technical minimum requirements for photos: 

  • Minimum resolution: 1024 x 1024 pixels 
  • Maximum resolution: 6000 x 6000 pixels 


At least two approved photos are required before the ad can go online.
